Is the daycare faith-based?
Yes, we have a faith-based, inclusive approach.
What ages of children do you accept?
We welcome little ones from 2 to 6 years old.
What are your operating hours?
We’re open Monday to Friday, from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
What are the drop off and pick up times?
Drop off: 7:30-9:30am
Pick up: 3:30-5:30pm
What qualifications do your staff have?
Our staff are licensed through the state of Montana. Our lead teachers have been at Smith Memorial Daycare for 2-27 years. They are required to be Adult & Child CPR and First Aid certified. They also take 16 hours of continuing education annually to renew their teacher license.
Is there a sick child policy?
Children must be symptom-free without medication for 24 hours before returning.
What is your approach to discipline and behavior management?
We use positive guidance, redirection and natural consequences to manage behavior.
Do you offer a curriculum or educational activities?
Our days are filled with play-based learning and child directed curriculum. We also offer field trips and educational enrichment opportunities including science, Spanish and art. Our library offers multiple genres of age appropriate books and story time with Pastor Chad.

How do you ensure child safety and security?
We have security cameras and safety gates for utmost security.
Do you have outdoor play areas?
Absolutely, we have outdoor playtime, weather permitting.
